I thought it would be easier to keep up with my goals/to do list by writing them down and holding myself accountable.
2012---
Where did you go!?
This year has blew right before my eyes. I loved getting to watch my babies grow. They are healthy and happy and that is all matters. Really!
I stayed at home with Hudson January 2012 thru August 2012 year. I am blessed to have been able to stay home with both Bree and Hudson for 10+ months.
I found out in May I was going to be an Aunt... AGAIN. :) (still waiting... For his appearance)
We vacationed at the beach for a week in July! Hudson's first beach trip. (1st of many)
In, August I started a new job. (which I love by the way)
Bree started 1st grade! She is a smart cookie!
Hudson started daycare at 9 months old.
November, my baby boy turned 1! Time flies... He has brought so much joy to our lives. He is such a mischievous little rotten boy. He makes me laugh and smile all the time! His big sister LOVES him to death. Hudson thinks he is always in control. His birthday party was a success and a great day!
In December, we got a puppy! Santa left us a puppy Christmas morning. We chose to call her "Lady". She is my third child. Spoiled like the other two.
Lastly, this year as brought happiness and also tears. I still mourn the death of my grandfather everyday. I often think of what he would say, how he smells, and what he would be doing if he was still with us. I hurt with my grandmother every.day. She lost the love of her life, of 60 years.
I continue to learn about myself, about balancing 2 kiddos, single mom life, and that I am very stubborn.
---2013---
Is going to be my year!
I vow to love life!!
-be happy
-appreciate the little things
-work out (more)
-run a 5k
-eat/cook better
- be organized
-return rented movies back ON TIME
- save money
- get rid of things in my closet
- buy a new couch/chair
- take more "mini" trips with the kids
- be a better mom/sister/daughter/friend
I also vow to sleep late, limit my intake of cherry coke, do random acts of kindness, say thank you a lot, do a "pay it forward" on my birthday, read to my babies more, turn my phone off when I have "dates with me", buy more blu rays ;) , play more board games, and clean out my attic!
I know some of these may seem silly but to me they are real. They mean something. Small or big.
...Here's to 2013. Lets do this! :)
